Also, I guess it's a bit late in the thread, but I'm surprised at the lack of comment on all the utterly random 'naked dance parties' that used to occur ALL THE TIME in Ascalon (both pre and post). It seemed like every time you went through there a bunch of Wammos would be strutting their underdressed stuff.

think I found the dumbest one ever though haha - the whole 100k thing yar-de-yar so I spent 15mins just messing with him saying "give me 50k" then i'll give you the info etc. 5 MORE minutes later (20mins total of messing with him) he said "ok i'll trade you 20k for your account info - then the other 80k when I have seen its legit"

I strolled away with 20k and lol'd at him for being a scammer - served him right for scamming and gave me a good laugh

Pretty much anything said in Shing Jea Monastery American District.
How that place became a cest pit of idiocy is beyond me.

Someone in GTOB ID1 yesterday, told another player that max Z-Rank does damage, and that he should finish off his spikes with it.

Sad thing is, the dude actually believed this, and thanked him for the tip. Lol Z-Rank >_>

It does! All you have to do is use it exactly when Rising Bile goes off on an enemy! It does exact same damage as Rising Bile, however the Rising Bile damage is negated..... XD I couldn't even say that with a straight face lol.

That the best runes and insignias for every caster (for generic PvE, not for farming) are attunement and radiant..

that the warrior is the easiest class to play with in the game, because you have just to c-space..

that there isn't any better inscription for a shield than the -5/20%..

Kids nowadays, I just don't get it. I really don't see an adult player begging like that.

I saw a guy wanting to buy a "Perfect Q9 Inscribable Stormbow".

ME: I have one I could sell you, Q9, 20/20, +30, 15/50. What's your offer?

HIM: Let me see

ME: It's on another character. It is exactly as I described it. What are you looking to spend?

HIM: Don't know

ME: Well, I'd let it go for 30k if that's ok.

HIM: OK

...so I go switch characters and open trade with him. He proceeds to fill the trade window with a bunch of garbage worth maybe 5k at the most.

HIM: Pleeeeeze

ME: The price is 30k, please don't waste my time

HIM: I'm poor

ME: Then you don't need that bow. Go save up some gold.

He proceeds to keep begging me and opening up trade windows over and over. I finally had to put him on ignore and just log off for a while.

I wouldn't consider it the education system it's not that bad, it's more like an example of the flood of bratty spoiled kids from this latest generation.

That sort of thing makes me glad I live on the other side of the pond. People here don't exactly go around touting the benefits of Magna Carta and Habeus Corpus. Just doesn't have the same ring to it.

When the Traveler was wanting Gloom seeds, my friend and I were farming them to sell since we already got our gifts. We thought it'd be a good idea to raise a little more gold for ourselves and help out an alliance member at the same time.

I was selling 4 gloom seeds in TOTA, American Dist. I had an exact price of what I was selling each seed for and this person opens trade and offers a green spear.

Him: Please?
Me: No
Him: Please? It's worth a lot of money.
Me: No, it's nothing to me. I have no interest.
*I cancel trade, player walks off sulking*

I was selling a Totem Axe for 4k, then someone wanted to see, so I showed him. He asked how much, I said 4k. Then..."Sorry, I don't buy green weapons for more than 2k, there's NO green items worth more than 3k. Good luck selling it
